As a Bee keeper and a creator of unique Ceramic sculptures, bees often find their way into my art . The Bee Empress is a guardian of bees. In California there are over 500 species of bees. Bees are fundamental to the survival of our planet so we should honor them.

Until Equilibrium Is Reached
Currently exploring some of the different “me’s” that either currently exist within, ones I have employed that may no longer serve my greater good, others who I hope to become, and/or the aspects I need to fully embrace and grow.
I encourage you to look inside to reflect, explore, embrace and love all the incredible and dynamic parts of yourself with compassion.

Some Semblance Of…

That since day one, she’s already had everything she needs within herself. It’s the world that convinced her she did not.”

Finding North
For this piece, I decided to repurpose an old “experiment”, keeping the half of it I loved and fully revamping the rest. As the work evolved, it became layers of mountain ranges with an underlying cartography and topography feel. So I decided to fully lean in, integrating a compass rose pointing to Polaris, the North Star.
Photos don’t do this justice. She’s a spectacular piece with many little nuances and beautiful moments.
