Naturally distressed American flag embroidered with the dying words of George Floyd.
The blatant murder of George Floyd was committed before our eyes and spotlighted the systemic racism that permeates our society. The nation’s witness to 8 minutes and 46 seconds of torture, his pleas to breathe, and calls to his mother ignited a national rage expressed in protests and riots. With tears streaming down my face, I was moved to embroider his dying words in this vintage distressed American flag. Silence is violence.

During the 2016 election and subsequent administration, we witnessed attacks on our civil liberties and the promotion of hate and national division. We stand for social justice, civil and human rights, reproductive control, and inclusion. We support the premise upon which our nation was founded and the protection of all of its people from the power of a few.
