About The Artist

Artist Statement

Since English is my second language, my ability to communicate is often lacking some of the cultural references, or the local slang and dialect which enrich the ability to express one’s self.

Art is my perfect second language. It frees me from the limitations of verbal communication and allows me to speak my inner authenticity. My abstract art is a conversation with myself, with others, and with the natural world. It is a reflection of my struggle to reach inner peace and to inspire empathy towards one another.

I draw inspiration from a diverse range of artists, including Hilma af Klint and Agnes Martin, whose spiritual and meditative approach to abstract art resonates with me. I am also inspired by the compositions of Nassily Kandinsky, Richard Diebenkorn, and Hans Hofmann, who have unique approaches to color, form, and composition.

My work is not just a creative expression, but a way for me to transfer emotions onto the canvas. I study artists like Joan Mitchell, Yayoi Kusama, Louis Bourgeois, Eva Hesse, and Anselm Kiefer, who have the ability to communicate emotions through their art.

In my art, I seek to connect with the viewer on a deeper level, inspiring them to find their own inner peace and empathy towards others. Through my art, I hope to make a positive impact in the world and contribute to a better understanding of ourselves and the natural world around us.
