It started with a glint of sunlight from the marsh. It would take many return trips to document the essential nature of the marsh. Lens Culture said of the series, “It is essentially like recording the vibrations of nature in a different way that goes beyond the scientific record and goes to something more metaphysical”. This small sample of marsh in San Rafael persevered years of development. The camera bears witness.
