Momentary Blissness
We all, at times, experience a chaotic inner struggle with what may feel like unquenchable desires. Perhaps we crave intensity, meaning, or transformation and are willing to obtain it at any price: be it through deep longing, self-sabotage, or a relentless search for a fulfillment that remains undefined. This piece examines and emphasizes the raw conflict between seeking and self-destruction.
“Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations”
I used color to anchor the theme of inner conflict: ethereal blues for “Blissness” versus an acidic neon yellow that feels like a restless mind. I wanted to create an immediate tension between traditional beauty and urban grit. So by placing that intense neon against the classic facial lines, I created a visual circuit by intentionally disrupts your gaze. In my doing this, the piece forces your eyes to oscillate between the chaotic left profile and the serene, sketched right profile in a perpetual search for resolution. You, the viewer, temporarily experience the deeper psychological meaning of the piece (and its title) “Momentary Blissness”

Ever Enduring
“Does she scare you a little? Good. She should make you fear her love, so that when she lets you be apart of it, you won’t take it lightly. She should remind you of the power that beauty brings, that storms reside in her veins, and that she still wants you in the middle of it all. Do not take this soul for granted, for she is fierce, and she can take you places that you never thought you could go; but she is still loving in the midst of it all, like the calm rain after a storm, she can bring life. Learn her, and cherish her, respect her, and love her; for she is so much more than a pretty face, she is a soul on fire. “
