“Bolero”
We had a canary that would bob and weave whenever he heard the music of “Bolero”. The song was mesmerizing and I was mesmerized as I made this painting.
“Row Row”
I made a book of etchings in the 1980’s with a story line that I don’t much like but some of the etchings are wonderful. I made a series of paintings from pages in the book (8″ x 10″) mounted onto 11″ x 14″ canvas. I painted over the images and modified them.
“Attic Room”
I love attic rooms. They are intimate. This room, as with most of my rooms, is a room in my imagination, being a bathroom and a bedroom and a living room at the same time. It is cozy.
Ferris Wheel
This sculpture is fun and multi-colored, 23″ H, 14″W, and 16″L. The figures are made out of polymer clay with 5 carriages holding the figures and 8 figures. The ferris wheel turns when you move the crank. It was fun to make.
