Guardian of the Valley: The Sentinel
Sentinel Rock stands guard over the entire Yosemite Valley. I took the reference photo for this painting a few years ago and enjoyed discovering each layer of drama as I laid down the acrylic paint. This painting is 20×16 inches, on a stretched gallery wrapped canvas. The 1.5 inch edges are painted with a wrap around scene. This was my first painting of 2025.
