I am drawn to Surrealism because of its ability to pique the viewers’ imagination and challenge them to question what they are seeing. As a landscape and found object photographer I am inspired by the possibility of creating new meaning through combined images. For my sculptures, I work primarily with clay, occasionally with wax cast in bronze. My pottery is infused with vivid colors and enriched with painting and calligraphy.
My still life works are studies of the interplay of light and color.
