Misty Mirage

Misty Mirage draws the viewer from a grassy field into the misty and an alluring forest. It gives one a feel of comfort with the soft misty moving in and out of the grasses and the trees. The tones are an inviting green but blends into the gray white mist and the brown tones of the forest.

Limited Edition of 25: 12×18 matted and framed in alum gold frame $425. Larger prints, metal and canvas are available on special order.

Lyrical light

This painting is one if a series studying the quality of light at different times of day and in different seasons. It is oil paint scrubbed into paper that is specially made to take oil paint. I like the differing effects I can get using this paper with and without oil mediums. The oil Paper painting is floated on a white ground and framed in museum quality glass.glass.

Arctic Tern

Arctic Tern is a monotype created with multiple intricate stencils. It is a 1/1, therefore monotype. It has an accompanying QR code. The QR code, when scanned, will direct the viewer to the sound of the bird.

Mount Fuji

Mount Fuji was conceived as a piece of work that would encourage a sense of calm and meditative sensibilities. It was intricately developed in Adobe Illustrator after drawn and scanned. A photopolymer plate was then made, inked and printed. The current print for sale is 2/5, meaning the plate has been inked and printed once and sold. This is a second print made from the plate with a total of 5 prints planned with the same inking and development plan.

The Couple

I envisioned them as figures from a Russian novel. The faces appeared out of an abstract work I was creating with smaller pieces of paper and monotype. Once the faces appeared I let the people emerge in my mind and develop on paper. This is a collage, mixed media and monotype.
