Artist Statement:
Oversized new buds in bright colors delight the eye as they are beginning to open. The outside of the petals highlight the inside buds with a touch of color on a light-to-shadow gray that leads the eye around as it begins to unfurl.

Hand-dyed and Painted fabrics- Machine appliqué
