This was inspired by late afternoon sun on a late November day. It had been raining for several days and the sun broke out and turned the sky and city blue and gold.

These magnificent rock pillars guard the southern shore of the Mendocino peninsula. This photo was taken just as the early sunlight brushes their tops.
