This piece is one of a series I did after visiting the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest in the White Mountains near Bishop, California. These incredible trees are the oldest living organism on earth (above ground, that it). Their gnarled and twisted branches are so beautiful to me, and what a testament to resilience!
