“Liar liar
Sky on fire
Don’t call me a crier
Our situation is dire.”

“I just thought what the end of the world would look like from someone’s eye. And I thought they would be crying so I used the earth.”-The 3rd grade artist Lila said about her painting and then wrote a poem called Black Thoughts:
Happy days what happy days but something seems wrong. There’s trash on the ground. Junk on the beach. Tears from everyone.
There are people on their knees begging in the streets…oh what is happening to our world. A thousand stars couldn’t fill.
It is as black as a widow’s eye. oh how time flies and flashes before our eyes.
What happened to us? What went wrong?
