Sonoma #4

The painting measures 30×30″ and is meant to convey the iconic landscape of Sonoma county as the hills change color from spring into the summer warmth.

A New Tapestry

The small pencil drawing is framed and was completed in the fall of 2024, when my hopes were high that we would have our first Female president, Kamala Harris. Her name means “Lotus”, thus there is a lotus flower on the top. Maybe next time.

Sanctuary

Prayer For Peace #19

Pencil, oil, gold leaf and ink on paper, the mixed media drawing is 27×19″ framed in natural maple. The African prayer, “Let us take care of the Elders for they have come a long way, let us take care of the Children for they have a long way to go and let us take care of those In Between for it is they who do the work”, is written repeatedly over the surface of the paper.
