Snowblind No.2

Snowblind No.1 and Snowblind No.2 are meant to be a diptych but don’t have to be sold that way.
My artistic exploration in portraying atmospheric pollutants in has shifted.
While it still remains a place of inspiration, I have come to better understand the deeper more subconscious place that is the true source of this explorative series.
This piece (and Snowblind No.1) explore the feeling of being lost and empty (as if in a snowstorm) without the presence of someone you had hoped would be trustworthy, accountable, and caring (be it a lover, friend, or family member). And in order to compensate for this discomfort, one may chose to deliberately ignore valuable information due to the overwhelming desire for a deep and genuine connection, even though the other person is unwilling to reciprocate and continues to display behaviors that are contrary.
