This series of works incorporates book art, inspired by the women in Picasso’s life who were often his subjects, especially of his portraits. The portraits made me wonder if Picasso really saw the women he loved, married, and had children with in such a distorted and ugly way. I hope to bring beauty and empowerment to Picasso’s women by celebrating their beauty and strength.
