About The Artist
I have been a jewelry artist for more than 20 years, letting serendipity guide my use of materials and construction. Starting with walking into the Mill Valley Bead Shop, to being gifted a box of antique buttons, then a desk full of watch parts, and pointed to a pile of shatter window glass, I now adventure far and wide to collect the treasures used in my jewelry.
The current collection is focused on shells and sea glass I have collected – facilitated by my extensive kayaking to ‘secret’ beaches – combined with natural pearls and Ethiopian opal.
Born and raised in Fresno, my love of jewelry is inspired by my sisters, and of art by my mother and grandmother. I have now lived in Mill Valley for 33 years. In addition to my jewelry making, I have a side-gig as a neuroscientist.
