About The Artist
Tom likes to use an active imagination to explore and see connections between worlds. For example, he recently completed a series of paintings that combine actual artifacts used in deep business strategy discussions with his corporate clients – abstracted into art forms. He draws inspiration from nature, the business world, magic moments, music, and street art. He is recently completed a series – called Free Ride – turning old Surfboards into works of art. He seeks to create art that enchants, inspires, and reminds us of what is possible. His work is inspired by street artists from Shoreditch (London), and Williamsburg (NYC), Jean-Michel Basquiat, Mark Bradford, Gerhard Richter, Nicholas Wilton, and his other teachers.
Tom grew up as an artist and after a 25 year career as a strategic advisor to CEOs and executives of mostly large, global corporations, he has returned to one of his first loves: mixed media art and painting. He now continues to serve as both a business advisor and artist.
