About The Artist
I am currently showing three bodies of artwork; my Waterscape Series, my Nightscape Series as well as my latest figurative and abstract sculptural work.
My Waterscape Series was born of studying the ocean daily. Creating these works has become a practice of letting go, just flowing.
Asking the painting what it needs from me now.
A river flowing, a reflection shimmering, ripples effecting all of eternity.
With my Nightscapes Series, I am commemorating iconic local landmarks–dive bars, theaters, and beloved Bay Area haunts, for fear they might someday disappear.
Finally, I am showing my latest sculptures: both life-size figurative work as well as abstract sculptures.
All have a light source and “light up at night!”
You can contact me at IG krisbrewerart or krisbrewerart.com for more information.
