About The Artist
Working with stoneware intrigues me: it has a malleability to catapult thoughts into a visual and tactile existence, a fragility to testify to all impermanence, a memory to argue, and a durability to outlive and forget its creator.
Thrown on the potter’s wheel, I use these clay canvases to combine the familiar with the unexpected – an exploration of how expectation and reality intertwine and diverge.
