Working with stoneware catapults thoughts into a tangible existence.  It has a fragility to testify to all impermanence, a memory to argue with the direction you push it in, and a durability to outlive and forget its creator.

Thrown on the potter’s wheel, I use these canvases to combine the familiar with the unexpected – an exploration of how expectation and reality intertwine and diverge.
