About The Artist
I’ve always been drawn to imagery of individuals in truly authentic life moments (both in photography and painting), and therefore I try to ensure the lives and personalities of my subjects are accurately portrayed in my work. I use my portraiture and street photography as catalysts for my paintings, selecting images that have an underlying current of social commentary, or subjects that have gone through personal hardships or trauma.
I am a contemporary artist originating from eastern Canada. I practice in both photography and painting, with each genres umbrellaed by an introspective quality, frequently looking inside personal and societal struggles, and reflecting the universal qualities of them back to the viewers.
