About The Artist
Deborah Martin-Lueder is a fine art photographer.
The idea of creating something beautiful out of what is considered garbage or elements of deterioration is one of my passions. Beauty is all around us everyday if we look hard enough and break the norms of what we are used to seeing in our own environments.
A day spent scouring the floors of abandoned buildings forgotten in time and discovering beautiful textures and architectural elements provides unique canvases for digital compositing.
My art is inspired by my experience in filmmaking, illustration and music.
These layered digital photographs become stories that I weave by using abstraction or historical and tribal figures.
The art you see in my Illustration section are digital illustrations I have made created from textures I have found in nature or crumbling walls. I do not use AI or CGI art.
The artwork for Open Studios this year is centered around organic material from wood, seaweed, sand and water. Also decayed walls and metal. All of these elements has given me the opportunity to create the theme of Shamanic energies and interesting creatures.

I am passionate about interior design. I am available to come to your home if you need help with aesthetics, color schemes that compliment the art I can make for you that is customized or an existing piece I have in my extensive library of images to match/add to the art you already have. I also enjoy working with interior designers.
Deborah is also passionate about photographing women and capturing their essence. Transforming the portraits with the help of Photoshop and layers, she is able to create imaginative/fantasy portraits.

Deborah graduated from the Academy of Art with a major in Film.
