Carolyn LeCoque is a self-taught artist specializing in mixed media and assemblage sculpture. She incorporates a wide range of materials—clay, fiber, bones, and found objects—into her art. Previously, Carolyn worked as an interfaith hospice chaplain and later as a medical ethicist after earning a doctorate in Bioethics. A serious illness led her to leave healthcare but she found renewed meaning and connection through creating art. Drawing upon her personal and professional experiences, Carolyn channels themes of transformation, spirituality, and humor into her distinctive body of work.
