About The Artist
The object isn’t to make art,
it’s to be in that wonderful state
which makes art inevitable.
~Robert Henri
I have no formal training as an artist and only recently began my creative journey after a career in healthcare. I worked as a spiritual care counselor for hospice for almost a decade and then went back to graduate school to obtain a doctorate in Bioethics and worked as a medical ethicist in a large hospital system. After a serious illness, and several years of recovery, a sort of inner alchemy occured; this combined with my long term meditation practice and interest in non-dual spirituality. Then, something opened inside and a whole new creative realm presented itself. My intention is to be present in the moment, let go of thought, get the ego out of the way, and play with the creative energy that arises.
