About The Artist
I am interested in painting as an expressive force using emotion, memory, music and hope. I am a sea painter at heart.
My parents were classical musicians, and as a child I studied the cello and worked at my mothers’ music school. I became a painter, but I still use a musical approach.

Claribel studied cello with Lesie Parnas in Boston, she went to art school at the New York Studio school in Manhattan / her main teacher was Leland Bell.
