This western landscape combines elements of Impressionism and Expressionism. It’s focus on light and moment capture the fleeting atmosphere of an Impressionist painting. The use of color, texture and abstract forms to express an inner emotion align with the Expressionist style of painting.
The landscape is dominated by a field in the foreground and middle ground with sloping hills and mountains in the background.
