Vladimir Ossipoff was one of the first Mid Century modern architects to move to Oahu Hawaii.  He built  this cabin by hand. It hangs on the side of a mountain. The painting shows the living room circa 1960.  It was recreated from original photos.

I started this work at the October 2023 artist at work event. I invited guests to collage cut outs of birds. I then created the finished painting using my own photos from a recent visit to the cabin.

This painting is quite large measuring 72” X 77”
