A Novel Nod to Granny’s Quilt
This is my magnum opus because of the size time involved (about 3 months) and difficulty executing the design. The idea of making this quilt design came from an unfinished “Grandmother’s Flower Garden” quilt in my attic. It was begun two generations ago with beautiful fabrics from that era. This novel quilt is actually a twin bed size but it’s only meant to be a wall hanging. It was a great honor this February when the quilt was juried into an international art show on recycling. 64″ x 84″

America: Evolution
Depicts a nod to rising tides and global warming. It’s an exaggeration that the entire country will be under water one day but many areas are in danger. In this piece waves cover the country. 43″ x 28″
