Pietersite Pendant with Rutilated Quartz
Pietersite Pendant with Rutilated Quartz. This unusual stone comes from only 1 location from a mine in Namibia. I cut this in a freeform shape to accentuate the swirling patterns which reflect iridescent light. Accentuated by textured sterling silver and a rutilated quartz with a cats-eye effect. The quartz needles are golden rutile which is the crystalline form of titanium. Set in fine silver bezel with sterling silver components and an 18” chain included. Good sized pendant at 2”w x 1 ½ “H.
