From the "Keep Off My Lawn" series. 2021 by M. Kosturos A proposal for a friendly and affordable way to plug the holes in the US - Mexico border wall. This one positions the picket fence together with a test segment of the border wall. One of the most beautiful photos made of the border wall, this image was captured by Richard Misrach and can be found in his book Border Cantos, which documents the wall. Misrach's work has inspired me since the late 80's when I began making fine art photography. I appropriate his images with great respect! This is a work in progress, not the final image.
