This extra large coffee mug was thrown on the wheel using red clay. First I made the base and then after some drying time, I pulled the handle off the top of the mug and attached it to the base. This gives the entire form a lovely, organic, handmade touch. The interior is glazed turquoise to make a nice contrast with a matte black on the outside.
