Dustup in the Dog Park captures the joy and chaos of dogs playing in the park. Five dogs are either jumping, running or playing tug of war. Their forms are slightly abstracted focusing more on their gestures rather than anatomical precision.

You can see burnt oranges, deep blues, and magentas used for shadows and highlights. The brush strokes are thick and broken adding to the sense of motion in the painting.
