About The Artist
I consider myself a representational artist. My work covers a wide range of subject matter, including cityscape, landscape. still life and figurative art. I have studied trompe l’oeil, the old Masters’ technique and lately plein air.
I was born and railed in San Francisco. I have degrees from UC Berkeley and UCLA. Although I did not major in art I have always been interested in drawing and painting. I have studied art for many years with many different instructors. I have studied painting at the Jean Henry School of art, at the art school in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and Barbara Pierce in Marin County. I have taken painting workshops with many different artists among them: Patricia Wallis, Carolyn Meyer, Susan Sarback, Tom Soltesz, Camille Przewodek, Ken Auster, Randall Sexton, Peggy Kroll Roberts, Jeanette La Grue and Tim Horn to name a few.
