About The Artist
Artist Statement
Inspired by a lifetime passion of free diving in the Northwest Pacific Ocean, I wanted to capture and share the life beneath the waves and among the kelp forests with others.
Biography
Visiting my father, also a metal sculptor, 50 years ago in Florida, planted a seed. The trials and tribulations of the COVID pandemic allowed the seed to flourish and using mostly reclaimed copper, brazing and welding rod transform the metals into memories from beneath the waves.
