Artist Statement
My work reflects my love of the natural world, and the juxtaposition of unexpected elements. This past year I’ve loved making a series of bird portraits, as well as some ethereal landscapes. I finally began experimenting with oils and am beginning to be happy with the results!
Biography
Happily retired from over 30 years as a high school art teacher, I’ve recently found the time and energy to fully pursue my art. My work tends to be eclectic in media and subject matter.
