I’m a fine art photographer who captures anything that catches my eye, but mostly landscapes and people. Born in San Francisco and raised in Marin Country, I reside in San Anselmo. After taking photography and film making courses in high school, I pursued other careers. Then, years later, I returned to the College of Marin and rediscovered photography. Now, over 10 years later, I have received numerous awards for my work. I like to put myself in situations where the opportunity of the ever changing environmental conditions presents its self to capture that moment in time.
My process involves meticulous attention to detail in my field techiques, along with work in today’s digital darkroom to fine tune and present color, tone and luminosity. It is a way for me to what i love the most, exploring the natural world and capturing it for you to see. I do not have to far, really. It is not about where you are, but how you see it. I still like to wander around Marin County, my long-time home, and beyond to capture fleeting moments.
