About The Artist
My work in oil explores the patterns and repetitions of nature, cities, landscapes, figurative as well as all manner of creatures, although my true subjects are always driven by light and emotion. My work in ceramic sculpture has evolved into building architectural pieces as lighthouses and fountains as well as more playful sculptural jars, teapots and pottery.
My education includes a BFA from UCSC, extensive study in Italy at S.A.C.I and an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. I studied ceramics at SFCity College at Fort Mason and worked as a lab Tech in the ceramics department before setting up my own studio.
