Artist Statement

Through my photography and writing I search for the art and poetry in nature and seek to capture that in my landscape, nature, and bird photography. I am drawn to shapes and colors in the natural world and wildlife. I am a retired Sleep Medicine professional and Counselor.

Art Exhibit at the Library. Photographs by local resident Leah Steinberg are now on display in the exhibit area of the Sausalito Library during open hours through Friday, February 2. The 11 works in the exhibit capture her fascination with the shapes, colors, and patterns of the natural world. Now retired from a career in sleep medicine, Steinberg is also the author of Raised in the Shadow of the Bomb: Children of the Manhattan Project, published in 2016.
