Artist Statement
I mix my sensory impressions of color and shape, with my memory and emotions to create each painting. I discovered line and movement when pursuing a career as a professional ballet dancer, and these elements also infuse my work. I am self-taught, so bring an idiosyncratic style to my art. Oftentimes, my work is both intensely personal and universal.
