About The Artist
An itinerant walker, I am an obsessive observer and photographer of the agricultural and coastal counties of Northern California. My paintings are inspired by the images and feelings for this beautiful, fragile, unpredictable and continually changing world. I paint in oils and acrylics, my paintings are large and also small. My paintings span a range from representational to entirely abstract.
I am a painter working in the ICB Studios in Sausaltio and in my home studio in Winters, California. I studied painting and printmaking at UCDavis in the 1970s with Wayne Thibeaud and Roland Peterson and returned to my work in 2017. I work in oils on paper and wood panels, in acrylics, collage and most often in mixed media.
