About The Artist
The Bay Area is an inspiring place to learn and grow as a painter. I draw and paint because it’s fun. Retirement from teaching gave me time to explore what was once a hobby that has now become a way of life. I will continue to be a lifelong learner of the arts.
I grew up in New York, and moved to California in 1989. I was a fifth grade teacher in the Bay Area for over 20 years. No matter what was in the curriculum, I always found ways to add an artistic element to the material. I became an art teacher at Ross School and had the privilege to focus on what I truly love.
