About The Artist
After a 30 plus year career as a divorce lawyer, I have returned to my first love in the arts, which I enjoyed beginning as an actress in Mexico City and then as a commercial photographer in Los Angeles.
My work relies heavily on color, nuance and movement, which reflects not only the perceived intractable chaos of the world and everyday life, but often more specifically the themes of turmoil, divisiveness and most importantly, reunification of the couples in conflict that I have encountered throughout my career.
Well into my middle years, I have always been drawn to intellectual and physical challenges such as entering and completing a triathlon, despite not having yet learned to swim, or going to law school with two young children at home while in the middle of a divorce. Creating beauty, thoughtfulness and provocations through art holds the same challenge for me. I have enjoyed this topsy-turvy journey, and I hope you will join me in it.
