About The Artist
Art allows us to interpret the reality around us. Through abstract realism, I aim to draw out what we cannot see: inner light, emotion, and the mysterious undercurrents that are larger than we are and connect us all.
As a California native, I draw profound inspiration from the beauty, grace, and resilience of the natural world.
My work invites viewers to experience the restorative power of nature, and enjoy a moment of wonder and serenity.
Art has always been essential to me. I have a wide array of experience in fine art, graphic design and environmental design.
I was raised in Southern California but have called the Bay Area home since I was 17. I have always lived within a mile of the ocean or bay, and feel alive and grounded around the intersection of land and water.
I raised my two sons in Marin County. I founded and ran an event marketing & production company for most of 30 years. When Covid cancelled all live events in 2020, I was finally able to dedicate time to my passion for fine art.
My art education includes coursework in Painting, Drawing, Photography, Sculpture, Graphic and Web Design, and Environmental Design. I hold MBA in Sustainable Enterprise from Dominican University and a BA in Liberal Arts from SF State.
