About The Artist
For years I have hiked the hills of southern Marin…Tennessee Valley, Mount Tamalpais, Tiburon and have enjoyed the spectacular views. Always feeling awe-inspired…then one day I fell upon a group of en pleinair artists….. I joined this southern Marin pleinair group. And from that day forward …. my world changed. I’ve been pursuing a life long dream to capture the outdoor beauty I call home.
I was raised outside of Chicago and I loved visiting the many Art museums in the city. The Art Institute of Chicago piqued my interest with the Modern Art and Impressionism Collections. My University studies always included art classes which landed me into the world of architecture and interior design.
Over the many years in my career of Interiors, I would create palettes of color with materials and finishes, producing spaces for corporate, hospitality and residential clients. My career gave me opportunity to explore and create with pen and pencil which led to watercolors….while travelling and living in Europe.
Today I work with oils, pochade box, easel and canvas and I’m out in nature ..ready to create!
Weather permitting…of course…otherwise I’m in my studio.
My passion for en pleinair and impressionism combining my journey in creating a moment in time.
