Artist Statement
I work primarily in hand build porcelain. Creating semi functional and functional pieces. My work addresses boundaries between function and design. The concentration is on color relationship, the aesthetic and the visual. I am concerned with simplicity, beauty of the clay, shape and movement.
Biography
I am a full time studio potter living in the north bay. I have been in my current studio for over 35 years. After graduating from the School for the American Craftsman (RIT) in New York, I relocated to California. I never looked back.
