As a film maker for the past 30 years,  my focus has always been on storytelling. I discovered Ceramics 5 years ago and fell in love with medium. It’s a new artistic  approach for me, away from the ephemeral nature of the narrative to the permanence of the object. I am mostly interested in hand building, rather than using the wheel, which leads to creating dynamic and interesting shapes, and allows me to integrate organic and floral elements into my work. It’s a constant state of exploration and controlled chaos, exacerbated by the unpredictability of the technical process.
