Artist Statement

Time for some new work! Hope you can come to Studio 338 in the ICB Building in Sausalito. I have been working on collage pieces this spring, along with still life paintings in oil or acrylic. As always, paintings of all sizes and prices, plus prints of past and recent work.

Biography

After receiving a degree in Design at UCBerkeley, Carla began a 35+ year career with her own Interior Design business. In 2004 she took a watercolor workshop and was instantly hooked! She studied water media for 7 years, then ventured into oil classes at the College of Marin along with workshops in the US and Italy. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums and is held in private collections.

Special Location Or Visiting Instructions

Celebrating Spring 2024 with new experiments in collage and other medium, along with my traditional still life compositions. We also just completed a collaborative project, where 40 artists within the ICB Building worked on 4 canvases over 4 days. They will be on display in the second floor lounge during MOS and for sale through a silent auction. Proceeds go to Autistry Studios in San Rafael which is a center for young adults with autism. They come together through art, as do we.
