About The Artist
I seek to create beauty in the space between order and chaos. For most of my career I have been focused on ceramics and drawing as my mediums, but since my retirement from teaching Art I have been experimenting with steel, glass and found objects as well. My work involves the assemblage of figurative sculptures using a variety of abstract shapes. I like to play around with possible expressions of the idea by adding and editing combinations of parts. The title and content of each sculpture evolve throughout the process.
