About The Artist
Momentary shifts of light, color, shadows on the water and the landscape often inspire me to render them as a visual story in oils. My approach is open to change as I enjoy new viewpoints and compositions. It’s an artistic journey. Expressive in drawing and blending pastels as a youngster, I went on to earn a BA in Art from Antioch College, O. and then an MA in Printmaking at Stanford with California artist Nathan Olivera. Taking a break from individual art work, my gifts of visualization led to an interior design career where I enjoyed helping clients enhance spaces they could not master on their own. Eventually the artistic road returned to my passion for painting and drawing. Life drawing is a passion, while with dedicated studio work in oils my portfolio is growing, along with exhibitions and collectors.
Thank you for visiting. I am open to consulting on more personalized pieces and sizes to suit your needs.
