About The Artist

Artist Statement

I love playing with texture and earthy surface. I see every tool making its own marks on my work, whether brush stroke, pencil marks, earth like clay, rusted metal, and prickly wire making. I feel freedom when tools to free flow in my works. I am in process of learning and creating on these tools to play naturally.

As a figurative artist, the human form with its infinity, mystery, beauty and life attracts me.

Art helps me listen to my inside voice and nurtures my soul.
I meet my unconscious mind when in my work zone, and my life experiences, whether happy, sad, painful, excited, or fearful become new creations.
Creating art is my meditation. Even working with the same figurative compositions, I find the outcomes, meanings and expression are always unique.

I enjoy every moment of my working, the struggle, excitement and delving into the unknown.
